That is the question I hear with almost every new customer interaction. Trying to answer with humour, I tell them I don't sew, and they wouldn't want anything I made! Then I go on to answer the question.
The garments I sell are made primarily in Nepal, Kathmandu, Thailand and India. I have vendors who import these goods from those countries and sell to companies like mine so I can offer them to you.
The garments are made by small factories which employ local people and this supports the local economies. "Fair trade" conditions apply. My primary suppliers have roots in the countries they import from, and support charitable programs to aid people in those countries.
